Braver Angels

Braver Angels is a non-profit grassroots movement whose goal is to depolarize the United States. I spent the summer of 2022 as their video intern producing Instagram Reels for the Braver Angels' Instagram account. During that time I helped develop a brand kit for Instagram; I researched, produced, edited, and posted weekly Instagram Reels on topics relating to depolarization and promotions for Braver Angels programs. My reels received comments like "lots of wisdom to unpack in this post," demonstrating the powerful impact of my reels. My content for Braver Angels helped them surpass engagement goals set by Meta at the start of the summer by 250%.

My time at Braver Angels helped me broaden my communication and production skills. While I was aggregating diverse political views to spark insightful conversation, I learned a lot about how people from different backgrounds rationalize their beliefs and what tactics to implement to spark more productive conversation. I learned valuable lessons about how conversing with people we might not always agree with and as a result, feels much more comfortable in any work environment.
